# Attachments in conversation history

How attachments are shown in conversation history

Attachments sent during a customer conversation are available when the conversation is opened from the conversation history.

Open the conversation history and select a conversation to view its contents. If the conversation contains attachments, they are shown in the customer information section together with the other conversation metadata.

Select an attachment to open or download it. Image attachments can be opened in the image viewer. Other file types are opened or downloaded using the options provided by your browser.

Attachments are available only when they have been successfully uploaded and when you have permission to view the conversation history.
